  1. It is now interesting that the countries that are lighting fires to clear land are all around the equator. These are the areas that will be the first to be rendered uninhabitable by climate change. So those lighting the fires are signing their own death warrants. When they have turned their own countries into super hot deserts, they are unlikely to be welcomed into the more temperate regions as refugees. In other words, if you burn your own house down to make a profit, do not expect to be allowed to move in with your neighbours.
