Right war, wrong army.

The are few just wars, the defeat of Nazi germany is one example. In the case of the war in Ukraine, the balance of right verses wrong, good verses evil, is certainly on the side of the Ukrainians and their president. Their courage is very impressive, when faced with the evil of the Putin regime. Justice will only be served by the defeat of Russia and the ejection of all Russian military from ALL Ukrainian territory.

So was Putin, in 2007. He won't appear again unless they introduce a new category, such as psychopath of the year, or war criminal of the year.

@real_lostinthefogofwar so did Hitler, unfortunately the economic growth was an illusion. Putin created nothing, he just exploited Russia's mineral and oil wealth by giving it to his cronies. Zelensky did not destroy his country, Putin's military did that when the illegally invaded it. Putin has not turned Russia into a world power, any more than Kim turned North Korea into a world power. They are both, nothing more than dangerous irritants, international pariahs, to be ignored and isolated. In fact Russia has gone from a respected super power to the puppet China. It's military is now a joke, an army of thieves and rapists. A conscript army that would like to run away.

@real_lostinthefogofwar is this history according to Putin? Putin is responsible for the war. As for the world supporting Putin, I suggest you review the U.N. general council votes on the war, the overwhelming majority condemn Putin, and cal for a Russian total withdrawal from Ukraine. When you say Putin got rid of the oligarchs is that a euphemism for murder. It seems that those who opposed Putin's war have fatal accidents.

@real_lostinthefogofwar you have really fallen for Kremlin propaganda. Putin had to find a reason to justify his war to create a new Russian empire, shame it failed.

But only one made a fool out of Putin.

@artmcteagle Putin has modelled himself on Hitler, at least in how the war is being waged. He is certainly a fascist. A war criminal, psychopath and a crime boss. There is no doubt at the courage shown by the Ukrainian people, or the outstanding leadership show by zelensky. This in contrast to the cowardice and greed of Putin.

@exhainca and history will judge Putin as a mass murderer, who waged an illegal war against Ukraine. A progressive western state, unlike Russia that is run like a mafia organisation. Putin is a war criminal, who with luck will face justice in an international war crimes court. As for the US being imperialists, it is Putin who has admitted he is empire building with the invasion of Ukraine. By definition this is imperialism. Unfortunately for Putin, his empire building project has been stopped by the courageous Ukrainian people. Putin's action has resulted in the recruitment of new member of NATO. While the Ukrainians have targeted the invading military and its infrastructure, Russian has targeted Ukrainian civilians and their infrastructure. It really not difficult to decide who is the evil invader, and who are the brave defenders. The Russian people should be ashamed of the actions of their leaders.
