  1. When selecting a soy it is usual to find someone with access to state secrets, not a teacher on holiday to see her family. This makes the Iranian security service look like fools, since they can't tell the difference between a holiday maker and a spy. I suppose when you can't find real spies, it is easier to arrest a house wife. The Israeli's must be laughing, as they probable have agents embedded in both the rocket and the nuclear program. Locking up an Iranian house wife, has not bothered the British government for the last five years, why should it bother them if she is imprisoned for longer. These new trumped up charges will have no effect on the UK government, they will express public sympathy and little else. They may even use the plight of this poor woman to their advantage, after all the Iranian government is not going to win any international popularity by demonstrating how corrupt their justice system really is.

  2. I wonder if the Iranians know how counter productive these false charges are to their goals. The UK government will express sympathy, while using her imprisonment as a good reason for withholding funds from a regime that is showing its self to be rogue and corrupt. Iran must know that if you select a spy, you chose one with at least some access to military secrets, not a house wife visiting her family. Iran is just playing into the hands of the British government, who can point to her false imprisonment as proof that the regime is rogue and corrupt. The international community will just nod in agreement.
