So the EU wants democrats consigned to hell. Is this surprising. If he wants to know what hell looks like, just wait a few years and it will be remarkably similar to life in the EU.

@DavidHeffron78 it is ironic that being condemned to hell has traditionally been the expected fate of those who betray their country to a hostile power for ideology or vested self interest. Give the remain position would hand control to the UK to the EU, it seems that those who support remain can look forward to their place in hell. Certainly those who support the backstop, which is clearly a blackmail tool to be used against the UK and that could turn the UK into an EU vassal state, are traitors in the traditional sense. What is offensive is that the EU regards those who are exercising their democratic right to leave the EU are regarded as sinners. Article 50 is intended to provide a way for member states to leave the EU. Far from it being the the sole responsibility of the leaving state to make provision to leave, it is incumbent on the EU to do everything possible to aid the state wishing to leave and offer whatever support is necessary to make that happen. From from aiding the UK in its democratic ambitions to be an independent sovereign state again, the EU has done everything in its power to impede the UK's exit from the EU.

@DavidHeffron78 it is only stupid in your stupid opinion. It is perfectly reasonable to want to live in an independent country free from EU control. It is only difficult because the EU parasite has had forty plus years to wrap its tendrils around the UK economy.

What you are describing is the EU ultimatum, a demand for the UK to surrender, this is what is being rejected. What do you not understand, we want to leave, we are leaving it matters little if you like it or not.

@prophetsnake are you complaining about the style or the content. It fact it really does not matter, since your reply to my posts are of no interest to me. I find you obvious frustration and impotence on brexit rather amusing. Should I decide read comics, no doubt I will be able to find stories of the evil empire and the grotesque villains that run it. But why read fantasy when the real thing is so much more entertaining. Maybe you should read history, The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire seems appropriate.

@prophetsnake you were complaining about my writing. Since you replied to my posts I must assume that you are a troll who lacks any original ideas to post of your own. If you have nothing to complain about why are you posting anything at all. On considering your reference to comics, I have often compared the function of the EU to that of the Star Trek Borg. Both offer nothing original, simply assimilating the culture and technology of others in pursuit of homogeneous domination, so maybe you are not a troll, just a drone of the EU collective.
