  1. His real enemy is the elites. The oligarchs and the politicians. But he is going around attacking ordinary people who have done him no harm. If that convenience store owner had jacked all his prices beyond the market, he would just end up going out of business in the real world. The people fixing the roads weren't the ones who spent the public money on it, and I would bet that any graft didn't end up in their pockets.
