  13.  @onepunch9203  Yes, censorship was around before the nineties especially. It would mainly be focused on pornography and films and popular music. It was the left (notably at Berkley in California) where there was the big free speech movement. The "right" form of censorship was about morality, but political correctness is about the accepted views being politically advantageous to those enforcing an "official truth."
