  1. The first reference to the Norse mythology that I remember was when reading C.S. Lewis. He mentioned that he found it an odd choice, because they are in the end, losers. Can't remember a reference for it though (maybe I'm wrong?). He also said that he couldn't enjoy it quite as much since it had been co-opted. Was there some lesson in the myth that the nasties should have heeded rather than adopting it? In essence the story contains the bad ending, so the message is that to follow this philosophy etc. will lead to disaster for you too. Lots of good information in your video!
