Overwhelming yes! Hard to believe this is only a 30 minute video, with all that you have packed into it. The Piekoff book looks interesting, so it's on my reading list now. it looks like it is available in NA within "Ominous Parallels." As for "self-interest," it is often equated with selfishness by leftists (or anyone trying to advocating altruism to their own purpose). The proper understanding is that it is more about "taking responsibility for your own affairs." This is the sense in which it is used when making the argument against socialism/collectivism, in that the central planner cannot possibly possess knowledge sufficient to make decisions for individual that would be better for society, than decisions made by individuals on their own behalf while acting in their own self interest.
