  2. Interesting. I came across some thoughts about Revelation that it is not a prediction of the future in that sense of prophecy. It was hinted at in The Cloister Walk by Kathleen Norris, which is not really a deep dive. Michael Heiser is someone I should be looking into. Thank you.

  3. This is what annoys me about the blanket term "Abrahamic." It should be pretty clear that the Muslim is quite different. It is more as if someone took the earlier writings and used them with modifications to this own purpose (a political one, that died with him). The modern legacy has had some horrific effects.

  4. So this stuff makes me wonder what Barack Obama was talking about when he called up the idea of "collective salvation." It's usually safe to assume that he's not being particularly deep.
