  1. Adding bike lanes alone won't solve the problems. Cities are built differently in Netherlands that makes biking enjoyable, not so much in Canada. Using bikes here are just misearable. Places are further away. Bikes are not built like Dutch bikes, they are uncomfortable to ride on. Bike parking is hard to find etc.

  2. The motor noise in Taiwan street is archaic. Mainland cities are much quieter and air cleaner than Taiwan.

  4. I'm about to take VIA rail from London to Toronto next weekend. I have a car (an EV), but my 6 year old has a fascination with the train, so I decided to entertain her. One question I have is does VIA rail economy class have window curtains? If not, am I allowed to bring a piece of cloth to cover the window if my child sometimes likes to cover the window?
