  1. What's troubling is not EVs themselves, but the level of centralization of charging infrastructures. Now that North America is adapting to NACS all EV chargers will be using Tesla network. All Tesla chargers are controlled by one company, one central data server. Should there be a hacking incident to take down all charging stations across the continent that will bring all the traffic to standstill. It also gives one company - controlled by one man too much power. He literally has power to turn off all charging stations, or stop all Tesla cars with over the air software update with a push of a button.
