  1. I can see this guy is all about anti EV.. But the most robust solution is to prepare with both fuel and backup power..i have a small solar system with backup battery and a phev car that will run on whatever energy source available.

  4. It all depends on which car. Don't just say all EVs this and that or all gas cars are this and that. I bet a Rivian or cybertruck can water ford much better than a low riding BMW 3 series. Any off-road capable vehicles will fare better than regular passenger sedans in emergency situations. Personally I have a Volvo XC90 phev. It's battery is located in the center tunnel far away from the underbody of car and it has air suspension capable of lifting up ground clearance so fording through shallow water will be pretty safe compared to any low riding gas or EV
