  1. Poor charging infrastructure is to blame. Most of urbanized Europeans live in flats, don't have access to home charging.

  2.  @el86lo36fky  that's because Europeans, but also Americans and Japanese have such a long history with internal combination engine they feel accustomed to and even emotionally attached to the noise and vibration while driving.
