  1. If you look closer into which EVs catch fire, they all use LG chem battery cells from Korea. LG Chem were also involved in Chevrolet Bolt EV recalls, and numerous fires involving Jaguar i-Pace and Volvo PHEVs. Panasonic cells and CATL's LFP batteries rarely catch fire, maybe in catastrophic collisions, but not during charging or on its own.

  2.  @robertkubrick3738  Like I said, dig a little deeper, all of the ones you mentioned (except for BYD) use LG chem batteries. Yes, BYD blade batteries from older gen. are fire prone, but the newer gen blade batteries are much safer. Zeekr does not burn, NIO does not burn. Teslas that use Panasonic and CATL cells don't burn. Nissan Leafs don't burn. Need I go on?
