China suffered no lies in the hands of Western imperialism and in WW2 was devastated by the Japanese and again the civil war and cultural revolution.. yet it came out way way ahead of India.

@rmotfamily9846 Looking at the achievements of Indians worldwide, there is no doubt Indians are very smart and hard working people. I think it's the political system and religious practices in their homeland that's holding India back from fast modernizing.

@himanshusingh5214 the irony is that colonized parts of China actually prospered such as HK, Macao, Shanghai s international settlements. Even Qingdao in shandong province now produces China's famous Qingdao beer and ham learnt from the Germans.
