  1. You know the battery in that car will need to be replaced in several years, given that it is already 10 years old. Unlike gasoline cars, batteries age regardless of mileage.

  2.  @GrahamStephan  I hear ya. But batteries do have a finite life due to its chemistry it's more a function of time rather than mileage. I'm just saying depending on how long you want to keep the car you have to factor in the battery replacement cost
