  1. Mostly due to incompetence.. Even the most successful chips companies are led by Chinese Taiwanese Nvidia and AMD. Pure American firms such as Intel are a decsde behind.

  3. Well said.. And the US knows full well that it's meddling with Taiwanese politics to provoke a war with China while China was on a path to peaceful reunification but the US doesn't want China to dominate the global chips industry.
