  2.  @viysnjor4811  That's Western propaganda. China will never invade Taiwan by force. It has a long term strategy to control Taiwan by gaining economic and technological dominance. TSMC will be irrelevant in 10-20 years as China ramps up chips industry. Taiwan will be increasingly dependent economically on mainland China, and will voluntarily integrate in the distant future. The US government wants to provoke China to invade Taiwan so that the US can use its superior military to subdue China before it has a chance to carry out its long term plan.

  3. Unfortunately Taiwans military is of little use if China doesn't actually invade it but just encircle the island to choke off its energy imports. The island population will vote out the pro Independence government and vote in pro mainland government and they will have AC again.
