  1. This guy is pushing to electrify every household appliances. Sounds good in theory, but when power goes out, unless you spent $50k on solar panels and battery bank, you will be dead in winter sub-zero temperatures. With gas stove, furnace, and water heater, you can at lease survive.

  3. Cooking is not just about efficiency or how fast you can boil a pot of water. No electric cooktop can replace the flavor comes from fire cooking, especially if you want to stirfry with a wok, and throw up flames inside wok with hot oil as you toss up the ingredients.
