@jjjxoxoxo they have to stay profitable they have so much debt. If they make one wrong move they go bankrupt. EV several years ago was a risk they could not afford to take. Now it's too late to catch up

Japan is good at continuing improvements and refinement of existing technology, not good at paradigm shift. As you see from hardware electronics to softwares. Now ice to EVs. They don't like big changes

It's not going to charge anything. Toyota is too stubborn to admit defeat especially to the Chinese. They think they are superior

@jjjxoxoxo it ultimately comes down to do you want convenience more or better air quality more? I think a lot of blue states in the US people just don't care about their health. They want to drive their polluting gas and diesel trucks more than healthy lungs. China will become cleaner than the US and Japan for sure in 5 years

@timothykeith1367 Up till now yes. But governments around the world will force these people to buy EVs in the coming years. If Toyota doesn't come up with any compelling products then, it will be in serious trouble.
