  2. Even if we do get cheap and limitless energy, supplying it to the remote locations is still a challenge. It's much easier to supply a remote gas station than running power lines for hundreds of miles to a remote charging station. EVs definitely have their limitations compared to fuel based vehicles. They are fine and efficient urban transportations but not ideal for long distance or remote applications. Military will never be able to use EVs as they cannot be refuelled quickly in remote areas.
