  2. Airplanes still need fossil fuel. Military vehicles need fossil fuel for fast refuelling. There are simply applications that cannot be fulfilled by electric mobility. Not yet

  4.  @Cant_prove_god  it's not free. Solar installation costs. Also maintenance. Not to mention increased insurance cost to you house. Inverters need replacement every 10 years that's $5000

  5.  @incognitotorpedo42  Yes, that's true. I've been a proponent of putting biofuel heater in BEVs for colder climate vehicles. Heat pumps are simply not strong enough in -15 degrees, and energy density of fuel is much better suited than battery packs especially for heating.
