  1. As a Chinese Canadian, and early adoptor of EVs (since 2017), I welcome this news. It's brilliant move by BYD to start limited import use as Uber vehicles to show people how great their cars are, and dispell the myth of Chinese EV fire risks. Then slowly, people will demand them, and democratically elected government has to bend to people's will.
