  1. And stop over-playing the fire risk for PHEVs. Of course with two kinds of fire sources in an accident - gasoline and battery, the risk is higher. Fire risks of any vehicle is extremely low anyway for EV, ICE or PHEV. With EV being the lowest 0.002% and ICE is 0.1%. You are comparing extremely low to still extremely low. Who cares? It's like saying Japan has lower crime rate than Switzerland. Both countries are SAFE ENOUGH. Both EVs and PHEVs have low enough fire risk it's negaligable.

  2. "PHEV are mostly driven in petro power, that is my opinion anyways" - Sir that is your opinion and it is false. "I don't see any advantage to PHEV..." - the advantage is clear. On rare occassions you have to travel long distance you don't have to wait around for charging. For other 95% of time you don't have to burn any fuel, and save 95% of emission with absolutely no range axiety at all.
