Even mass produced vehicles like Camry and RAV4 hold up value better than EVs because they cost less to maintain and repair. Buyers of used vehicles have to consider how much is it going to cost me to fix it if something goes wrong. The sad thing about the current EV designs are focused on high tech and flashy gimmicks that will either break or be obsolete in a few years. Not to mention in a few years a brand new battery design might make the current batteries obsolete and depreciate current EVs also. Owning an out of warranty EV is a gamble. Owning an out of warranty Land cruiser or even RAV4 you can sleep well at night.
