@achangyw They will still know when you go to work or come home even with non-Chinese EVs, it's just whether you want to give your info to the Chinese or US government. All modern cars are connected and track your every acceleration, deceleration, speed, GPS location, and share this information with insurance.

It's pure economics. Most of people under 40 have much less money than older people. Still most of Americans hate Chinese cars, and only buy them if they are significantly cheaper, and they would still have negative perception of their quality, whether justified or not.
