No matter what happened, it shows Elon's hot headedness, and imaturity. He was diagnosed as Autism as a child, it's not a surprise.

@jasonbrown7330 What a brilliant insight! If you want to be rich, you just have to be smart! WOW. If that was the case, the world will have millions of billionaires! Instead, the wealth often comes with luck, instead of intelligence.

@benmlee brilliant ViC and investor. Yes. Engineer? A good engineer but falling short of genius as many believe him to be. Creating an EV is not exactly difficult. Many engineers can do it and they don't even need to be genius.. Creating autonomous vehicles? Many of the smartest computer and neural scientists at top universities have struggled for decades. Elon thought he could do it in a couple years even as back as 2019. Yet we are still nowhere close in 2024.. it just goes to show Elon is not some kind of super genius he couldn't even evaluate the difficulty level of a project. His naivety may have given him the confidence to take risks others didn't and with his celebrity status came with funding and support to make it happen. It's not his genius or insight that made him successful like many of his cult followers like to believe. And now he is betting heavily on AI and robots I think will fail spectacularly as his followers are way underestimating the time required to achieve it. It's possible AI and robots become viable technology in 10-20 years but in the mean time the volatility of TSLA stock will likely to shake out many believers.

@prophotoservices he couldn't have changed the world without his supporters. And he simply picked the right project and got lucky. Many have tried to electrify transportation before him, but they lacked the popularity to get enough momentum and funding to overcome the fossil fuel monopoly. It's not that they were not as smart as Elon. I think many engineers are way smarter than him but didn't have his celebrity status that's all. Now just because Tesla charged the world, his supporters are easy to think Elons every action is genius. That's a very simplistic thinking and false

@andrewsaint6581 Engineering behind EV is extremely simple, battery hooked up to motor. Crating AI systems that can full self drive is 1 million times harder. Totally different ball game.

@FOREX25892 you can't read or comprehend or simply being provocative

@BarryObaminable I'm not a failure

@andrasbiro3007 sure economy of scale is well done by Tesla I'm not denying that. I'm simply comparing the technical difficulty of creating EV and AI. Vast difference.. EV everyone can do it. AI. No knee has been able to do it .

@andrasbiro3007 No it's not just matter of more data and compute. Humans need far less data to train 1 / 1000000 required to train neural network models. There is something inefficient and wrong with the current AI models. A completely new approach is needed. The current approach mad rush to train all these neural nets by wasting so much energy and brute force compute power will be laughed at by our future selves.
