  1. I'm not surprised a cellphone company suddenly decided to make cars. Of course there will be lots of problems. In my opinion the management made a strategic error entering an already saturated and highly competitive market as a novice.

  2. I wouldn't say so. They are outdated tech, but quality is still decent for their ICE models at least. Toyota ICE cars will last longer than most EVs in number of years if mileage is not excessively high.

  3.  @kknn523  Huawei and xiaomi should invest heavily in semiconductor development and AI technology that's where they will find the edge and overcome the US sanction on chips.. entering an overcrowded EV market is poor ROI. If they develop the next gen 5nm AI chips that rivals Nadia then the world is their oyster.
