  1. If you limit fossil fuel industry in places like Australia and Canada, where at least they are trying to do it in a responsible and less environmentally damaging way, you will push production into Middle East and Russia, where far worse emission and pollution will be generated.

  2.  @joeltrail8186  I'm a Canadian too. I think Canada is doing pretty well in cleaning up production side of things but still has long way to go in curbing over consumption. I don't know why we had to follow the US pickup truck culture. IMHO, pickup trucks should be banned fromr passenger vehicles not only are they wasteful but also dangerous in collision for other small cars and pedastrian. They also occupy allot of road and parking space. They are completely unnecessary and the only reason they are popular is because they are classified as work vehicles are exempt for EPA fuel efficiency standards. It's a loophole that should have been closed long ago.
