There is a lot of waste power in induction charging. Also I'm not that comfortable with irradiating myself with that much EM radiation while driving.

@malcolmrickarby2313 it's not the same em radiation as cellphones. We are talking about delivering enough energy to charge kilowatts in battery. That's several times more than microwave as we know it's not good to stand too close to microwave when it's cooking. I'm not sure if automakers are willing to put enough shields in passenger compartment that will add weight to vehicles whose range are most important metric.
