  3.  @GWAForUTBE  nobody likes overly complicated designs. But the current EV trend is exactly that, stuffing so much technology in it. Everything relies on smart tech. If the computer on wheels fails, it won't just be your can't turn on radio, but all the critical controls are in the center screen. You will be stranded. if the car is damaged you can't repair it yourself or even by a qualified mechanic because all the proprietary computer software controls. I wish for a simple EV a dumb EV, but no one is making them because of the current fashion trend in the EV market

  4. Blame Tesla and Elon musk. Instead of making EVs for the masses, they have successfully curved out a niche market for the computer nerds, elitists, and the rich.

  5.  @GWAForUTBE  I didn't say anything negatively about EVs for just being EVs. If you read my comment carefully I actually like EVs just not the most EVs on the market today they are overcomplicated. They could make them simpler without computer on wheels design philosophy. If a gas car came with computer on wheels designs then I'll hate it even more. And allot of them already are actually. EV by definition has a battery driving electric motors that's it. It doesn't imply anything about removing physical buttons and controls and jam everything into a touch sensitive screen and have regular software updates and pretend to be autonomously self driving AI robots. All of that is add on luxury features that may or not work robustly over time or preferred by everyone

  7. I commented that treatment of Aborigines and indigenous people in Canada and Australia are examples of human right abuses by the Western democracies and their hypocrisy. It mysteriously disappeared.
