  1. I don't know why you still keep bashing on phevs. It's not the gasoline engine component that caused fires it was the defect in battery after all. If pouch type battery were used in pure EV cars then they would also be prone to fire . Nothing to do with being phevs

  3. It's not like traction battery in phevs are right next to the combustion engine to absorb all that heat. If such design was made it would be stupid
