Lack of refuelling infrasture is not a good argument against hydrogen. Any new technology has unreliable and lacking infrastracture, EV no exception. 10 years ago, charging stations were even less and urneliable. The real argument against hydrogen is inefficiency, and storage and transportation of presurized hydrogen tanks are very costly.

The process of storing and transporting hydrogen is very expensive and energy in efficient. That's why there are so few hydrogen stations.

@TB-up4xi why? I guess the only advantage of hydrogen over batteries is the speed of refuelling. It matters in remote and military applications where charging infrastructure is very limited and you can ship tanks of hydrogen just like gasoline. In every day normal use in populated areas batteries make more sense.

Japan is ruled by seniors. They don't want any changes.

@jamie-ck6js true but that's simply inexcusable incompetence of current EV industry. In theory EV chargers are fraction of cost of gas stations and delivering electricity to changing stations is far cheaper and safer than moving tons of flammable liquid fuels by trucks. Most of charging stations fail because of overly complicated payments and activation schemes and the fragmentation of providers wants you to sign up with their account and apps. This is really absurd and inexcusable.
