  1. EVs do have a con though. Their use need to be planned. It's not as flexible as gas cars when it comes to handling unexpected usage such as taking alternate route on road closures or bad weather where there is no charging stations along the way. When you have to run somewhere in emergency just when battery level is low. With gas cars you can refuel in 5 minutes, with EVs it could take hours worse yet having to go out of your way to find a charging station and hope it's working or not occupied.
