 @williammeek4078 for most people car is not a necessity, rich or poor. Having your own car is a privilege.

@DuaneL1961 owning used EV especially after warranty is a dangerous gamble. The repair cost is much higher than gas cars due to black box design and lack of parts available.

I blame this on lack of choices. Everyone is trying to copy Tesla s design cues, stuck on tablet, flush door handles, touch sensitive buttons. They only appeal to those technophiles and early adopters. To teach main stream you need to have EVs with more traditional designs.
