  1. There will still be gas cars but will increasingly become a niche market. If Japan doesn't catch up soon they will suffer a lot economically.

  3. ​ @SunriseLAW  in theory, EV are simpler than ice cars and everyone should be able to fix it easier as it's just battery and electric motor. But the problem is Tesla the leader of EV decided to put all that complex software gadgets on top to make it overly complicated and everyone thinks EVs need a touch screen and computer to operate and most of other car makers are copying Tesla designs on EVs. It's just sad that EVs have to become computer on wheels, it's doesn't have to be

  4. No japanese are not stupid but they are not super race as hyped either. The problem is with aging population and social structure young people with good ideas don't have much of say there. Elders value tradition more than innovation.
