Anyone who believe in "self-charging" claims didn't even finish highschool level physics and don't deserve to own a car anyway. Same can't be said with Tesla's FSD misleading feature name.

Toyota is a proven brand for reliability, maybe that's why it's sold well in Norway. However I don't expect Toyota EVs last as long as its ICE cars because of the inferior battery packs it's using compared to Tesla and Chinese EVs.

Good to see an EV with non-flush door handles that's not easy to freeze shut in winter icy weather, also physical buttons instead of everything on center screen. I don't like the interior and grey plastic everywhere in typical Japanese / Toyota cars, but seems better designed for practicality than Tesla and Tesla copy cats.

@avdp9095 they will probably have to honor the warranty alot and replace a whole bunch of them or have a large buffer than others batteries in order to keep longevity. That could explain why it's so inefficient.

@avdp9095 it needs more buffer than Tesla and Chinese EVs due to inferior batteries. Thus. Less efficient.. If you can't understand that it's on your IQ deficiency. I'm not talking nonsense

@USAoutofEurope yes yes. Kodak had 100 years of experience in photography also. What's your point? Japan has been uncompetitive and non innovative for decades . All their experience mean nothing without spirit of innovation. Toyota is clearly trying to delay the EV adoption because they just can't keep up with Tesla and Chinese manufacturers.

@panarai_fan yeah I stand by my statement that Tesla uses misleading marketing name FSD but I didn't say anything about reeducation of people working on the FSD you need to learn how to read basic English.
