  1. The dilemma with EV charging infrastructure is that most EV users charge at home over night, so fast chargers are only used by mostly by long distance travellers. If you build a lot of them, as ubiquitous as gas stations, they won't get enough utilization to make a profit. If you don't build as many, only a couple of them along busy highways, then it deters people - especially apartment dwellers from buying EVs because of inconvinience.
