Consumers have voted with their wallets. They'd rather buy a big gas guzzler like Toyota Land Cruiser than an environmentally friendly Tesla EV. Why? I don't think it's about EV vs ICE, as there are also plenty of ICE cars that went down in sales and value (likes of Land Rovers and Mercedes). It's more about high tech car with fragile computers and software vs. simple reliable easy to repair with long term residual value. It's time for EV makers to wake up and design simple analog EVs rather than computers on wheels that become worthless as soon as out of warranty.
