  2.  @vancity2349  Is that a bad thing? To consumers they get their money's worth. Most people still see Toyota as highest quality and reliability standard in automotive industry, putting aside ICE / EV debate. I wish there was an EV company more focused on quality and reliability than just flashy gizmos and profits while cutting corners wherever they can like Tesla. If there is a fault, Tesla just say "it's no big deal, we'll fix it at some point in the future with software update". No Get it Right From Day One, or Don't release that feature!. instead of promises that will never come who knows in what year in distant future. Maybe some Chinese brands like BYD or Geely comes close to Toyota in terms of quality and build and finish, but too bad they aren't allowed in North America.

  3. I think legacy autos will shrink but not going to completely disappear due to the stubborn NA markets, there will always be some people wanting ICE cars in Murica. The 2030, 2035 targets will be pushed back thanks to democratic processes in Murica. In Europe and China EV adoption will be close to 100% by 2030, but in Murica and Japan, ICE cars will be for a long time to stay.
