Japan's electronics industry got destroyed by iPhones because for years they ignored disruption of software. Now their car industry will be destroyed by EVs. It seems Japanese focuses too much on hardware / tangible things. In electronics, they only care about hardware, not focus on software and they lost the race. Now they can't wrap their head around charing cars with invisible electricity. They only know and feel it's approriate to "fuel" the car with some tangible stuff, if not fossil fuel, then it has to be hydrogen. They can't accept that invisible electricity powering a car.
