  1. Disaster is in the US where young people can't even afford housing because of shortage. China has surplus, it's a good thing. Use your common sense. As for values of Chinese people savings going down, if it comes down to it, government can just give stimulus handouts if economy gets too bad. In the US, shortage of labor, goods, and irresponsible government spending and money printing leading to inflation that is much harder to control. Sure the US citizens have more wealth on paper because of their real estate and stock portoflio are high. It can change any moment. What can't change quickly enough for the US is self-sufficiency in productions and reliance on imports of foreign goods.
