  1. Why does Europe want Ukraine so badly? It's been historically closer to Russia. The way EU and US is supporting Ukraine militarily seems like foreign interference of internal affairs of Russia. Ukraine is like Russia's cousin. France and Germany are like unrelated neighbours. When you see two cousins having a fight (family matter), the powerful neighbours (EU) gets in and take sides. That's what it looks like.
