In any case, China gave / taught Japanese these cultural elements, but if you go on streets and ask some Japanese people where was Tofu invented, Japan or China, half of them will insist Tofu is Japanese invention. They like to think it's their own, not leanred from another inferior culture like China.

@CyrusJanssen If China can catch up and dominate semiconductors, it will more than make up for the real estate rout it's currently in. If solar panels and EVs are any indication, China can innovate technology extremely fast and hopefully, semiconductors and AI are no exception.
