  5. But see, you must "be bothered with men anymore". Men are your plumbers, mechanics, electricians, HVAC installers, roofers, pavers, repair techs, linemen, farmers, & law enforcement officers that serve as your human shields.

If men with options are going to commit with integrity themselves, you damn well can expect them to have some expectation of "control" over their partner from posting cleavage shots on IG, girls nights out in boozy nightclubs, retaining much less responding to dms from other handsome dudes (tantamount to resumes kept on file) etc. No self respecting man would overlook all these things that virtually all my married/in-committed-ltr female peers are doing in 2023. Which is another way of saying that I don't know any men my age who are in long term committed partnerships who aren't tolerating ongoing disrespect. It's f'ing pitiful actually.

  14. There's the issue of "love", and there's the issue of respect. Men need respect in their relationships to make them meaningful & worthwhile. Women en masse have been raised & socialized to disrespect men. Sure - many men don't deserve respect - but many do, especially family men who are providers. But they're often "boring", and so many women (wives, often) will disrespect & betray those good men - & the culture helps these women justify their atrocious behavior.
