  20.  @Leoo117 I dunno. On one hand, yes - being genuinely curious about people is constructive, & will yield positive results. Some of us have read all the Dale Carnegie & for that matter Wayne Dyer (& his ilk) books. But on the other hand, you get to a certain age where the available women have just almost all made terrible life choices. And they all have excuses & justifications for what their life turned out so badly. And they all fake like underneath it all they're "living their best life" & happy etc. And running into this over and over again....is truly boredom-inducing. I had a date just this year - she talked negative about all aspects of her career, then another person joined the convo, & she literally said unironically "I'm living my best life right now". I was like holy hell, what a walking cliche. And I agree with the original comment on this - after moments of waxing positive about making connections with women, I keep coming back to this observation: The vast majority of women today have no talent other than putting on makeup, garnering (cheap & worthless) attention, & doing whatever it is at her makework (e.g. office / clerical) and/or miserable job (e.g. health care / nursing), to collect a paycheck. I'm just calling it like I see it. The exceptions that prove the rule absolutely exist - these few talented women who aren't the most physically beautiful wind up being pursued by more handsome dudes & actually offered commitment. To those "average looking" but legit talented women - I genuinely say, good for you. You're becoming unicorns.
