  2. Right. James Sexton covers this a lot, just the "eye rolls" of passive aggression that kids "hear" loud & clear. And as a never married guy with no kids, I hope @PsycHacks hears me loud and clear on this one: it is PROFOUNDLY UNFAIR for a divorced parent to move on & form a relationship with a non-parent - and subject their new partner to all kinds of horrors associated with this. Extremely narcissistic and inconsiderate of the divorced parent to do this - and I've experienced it, and I see it all the damn time.
