  1. Clever man, Derren. Showed how he does some of his stuff, once. Cues folk were subconsciously seeing on the way to his shows that influenced their questions, drawings, etc. A friend, decades ago, did a mentalist act on stage. One part involved three seperate strangers. One picks just one book out of half a dozen, the next picks a page and the third person picks a paragraph. He'd then recite, verbatim, what was written. He offered to show me how it was done, but I declined. Got to have some 'magic' left in our lives, right? 😜😂
