I use baking soda in the kitchen and bathroom, pouring a generous portion down the sinks, then add vinegar to set up the violent chemical reaction that cuts through grease, soap scum, food particles and even human hair! I leave it for twenty minutes, then run the cold tap for a minute or two. This saves me a small fortune and having to wait for a plumber to arrive. Baking soda and any vinegar aren't something I'd ingest together.
