Moving the dogs lessened the problem, but didn't remove it, I'm afraid.
Moving them into another room would have lessened it further, but still not removed it, as walls are penetrable and proximity makes the problem worse.
Think of wifi hubs.
Sometimes, in whatever room you finally settle it, you might still have to move it to different spots to achieve the desired result, because, unbeknownst, you may have insulation in one or more walls, that has a metallic coating, acting like a one dimension, two or three sided Faraday cage, preventing signals getting through, however, the one solid, retaining wall still allows them access to enter or travel further.
I've never made or worn a tinfoil hat, but it's the same principle. 😉😂

When smart meters were first brought into the realms of possibility I did the research and decided they were clearly a health hazard.
I've seen nothing in the intervening years that could possibly change my mind on that issue and know I never will.
On others issues, they lose all round.
Any neighbours that have had them put in complain of them being more expensive to run, which negates the claim they are free.
More concerning is the privacy angle.
Any information they transmit is sent in short bursts, which should take mililiseconds.
If they are relaying information from other metres just seconds, however, I hear tales of them operating at high speeds for anything up to half an hour, at all hours of the day and night, particularly the wee, small hours, when folk are usually asleep, so there is no reason for them to be going mental at those times.
And why...what information are they transmitting?
I was told, after refusing one ftom my energy supplier, that at some point it would be legally mandatory to have them installed, (Gas and Leccy) at which point I informed them I'd be ready for court, armed with countless studies proving they are detrimental to health, whenever they liked and would make a media circus out of the case.
That was five years ago and I haven't been bothered since.
However, being ready was no idle boast.
Anyone interested in research should first check who has paid for the studies they are examining, as they will quickly discover any positive revues were and still are commissioned and paid for by the energy giants themselves, often by circuitous routes, whereas the negative reports are always linked to non industry organisations, usually with extensive scientific and medical reports to back their claims.
